Clothes to Pack
there are free laundry facilities – with driers and detergent provided
scouts will have the opportunity to buy a souvenir t-shirt if they want an extra t-shirt
- Light fleece that can get wet (good when chilly/on boat/in rain).
- 2 x swimsuit (we will be basically living in swimsuits)
- 4 x underwear
- 3 x pairs of socks (1 x long-ish for buggy island)
- 1 x bra
- 2 x shorts/skorts for dry activities
- 1 x long pants for dry activities (for sunburn/bugs)
- 1 x long pants for wet activities – e.g. quick dry leggings/pants (for sunburn)
- 1 x swim shorts (for comfort – e.g. cheap athletic shorts)
- 1 x UPF +30 long sleeve swim shirt
- 1 x long-sleeve troop swim shirt (this is also uniform for flags)
- 1 x Luau Shirt (this is uniform for last night)
- 1 x casual shirt that doesn’t identify us as scouts for Key West
- 1 x troop 29 t-shirt
- 1 x shirt with skincoverage (e.g. quickdry hoodie) for buggy island
- 1 x pajamas (optional)

- Hiking sandals (e.g. Chacos/Tevas/Keens)
- worn 90% of time, including as shower shoes
- Closed toe, hard soled, water shoes
- should be good for wading in waist-deep water with slippery rocks and knee-deep sticky mud. Best is hard-soled dive-booties

- Crew First-aid kit specific to our adventure (1 per crew of 6-8)
- Med forms ABC for everyone in the crew of 6-8
- (with dr signature, dr note for recent musculoskeletal injuries, date for tetanus shot, signature that over-the-counter meds can be given, etc)
- Other paperwork for everyone in the crew of 6-8
- (fishing licenses for all age 16+ and all adult training certificates)
For one-night camping on the island (each person will be given a large dry-bag to pack):
Note, everything below is already on the packing list (take adult first aid kit everywhere)
Wear:
- a wet outfit (swimsuit, wet-activity long pants, swim shirt, hat, sunglasses)
- closed-toe hard-soled water shoes for wading to island
Keep with you:
- mesh flipper/snorkel bag (with all snorkel gear)
- water bottle, sunblock, camera, fishing license for 16+ (maybe in a small drybag)
